Mahsuri - Istana Budaya

Dah dekat 2 minggu, baru hari ni nak post citer pasal gi tengok teater kat Istana Budaya. Tak plan pun actually nak tengok citer nih.. tapi just to try smtg new, so we decided to watch teater on that night. Mcm biasa, ngan life yang sentiasa kelam-kabut, that show starts at 8:30pm, and time tu jugak la kitorang baru sampai kat Istana Budaya tu. So worried kalau lambat sampai, they won't let us in. Pretty much excited to watch this play.. and kalau la diorang tak kasik masuk.. huhuhuhu... memang nangis sihh!

To be honest, this is the first play that i watched starring by Vanida Imran. Being a big fan of her.. (coz she's soooo sweet and no bad stories about her heard so far.. which is rare for famous artist), of course i have a high expectations towards her. On that night, not many people watching the play, so we can pretty much choose our sit.. and we manage to get a first row in the grand circle. Memang view best giler!!

Masa play ni, i am sure ada yang tengah berangan "if" dia jadik director macam mana and all.. but i am more interested on the traditional dance and music...(err.. actually i was berangan to be one of the dancer.. hehehe..best!! )

Anyway, to cut the story short, actually Mahsuri was the legend that took place at Langkawi around 600 years ago. Married to a warrior who was away to war, she was accused of adultery and was sentenced to death. When the blade of the keris used in the execution pierced her body, white blood spurted out, signifying her innocence. With her last dying breath, Mahsuri cursed the people of Langkawi, that they will never find peace nor prosperity, and the Island of Langkawi itself will become a barren unproductive land, to last for 7 whole generations. Shortly after her death, Langkawi was attacked by the Kingdom of Siam…

Conclusion is... rugiiiii sapa tak pegi tengok teater nii..hehehe.. :P

I had fun on that night.. and still kempunan and looking forward to watch "Puteri Gunung Ledang" in the future.. (hope they will stage it again.. ).

Arissa's Cukur Jambul and Doa Selamat Ceremony

Alhamdullillah, finally we managed to hold a special ceremony for our daughter, Arissa for her "Cukur Jambul & Doa Selamat" ceremony which was held yesterday at our resident. Lotsa people coming which includes a special "Marhaban" group which belongs to my mom's friends, families, friends and neighbors.

Basically this is the second ceremony for Arissa as the first event was held back then somewhere around February at my husband's village, Teluk Intan together with her aqiqah.
Words can't describe how tired we were try to make this event a successful one and to make it wonderful for our beloved Arissa. Glad that during the whole event, Arissa's try to control her charm-ness and cute-ness and try to behave as much. Hmm..even during the selawat and marhaban ritual going on.. she just keep on sleeping as if nothing happen... of course with the help of the warming hug from her mama.. :P I should say during the whole process of cutting her "jambul"... i kinda get a bit sensitive and my tears starts to fall... huhuhu..i guess being a mother turns me to someone who is "extra-sensitive" and took my brutal-ness away!!

Anyway, just to make things short, thank you to everybody who actually make time to come to the ceremony, for all the help and support to make the event such a memorable one.

And lastly.. pls make doa for my Arissa so that she will be strong and get healthy soon..
