Mahsuri - Istana Budaya

Dah dekat 2 minggu, baru hari ni nak post citer pasal gi tengok teater kat Istana Budaya. Tak plan pun actually nak tengok citer nih.. tapi just to try smtg new, so we decided to watch teater on that night. Mcm biasa, ngan life yang sentiasa kelam-kabut, that show starts at 8:30pm, and time tu jugak la kitorang baru sampai kat Istana Budaya tu. So worried kalau lambat sampai, they won't let us in. Pretty much excited to watch this play.. and kalau la diorang tak kasik masuk.. huhuhuhu... memang nangis sihh!

To be honest, this is the first play that i watched starring by Vanida Imran. Being a big fan of her.. (coz she's soooo sweet and no bad stories about her heard so far.. which is rare for famous artist), of course i have a high expectations towards her. On that night, not many people watching the play, so we can pretty much choose our sit.. and we manage to get a first row in the grand circle. Memang view best giler!!

Masa play ni, i am sure ada yang tengah berangan "if" dia jadik director macam mana and all.. but i am more interested on the traditional dance and music...(err.. actually i was berangan to be one of the dancer.. hehehe..best!! )

Anyway, to cut the story short, actually Mahsuri was the legend that took place at Langkawi around 600 years ago. Married to a warrior who was away to war, she was accused of adultery and was sentenced to death. When the blade of the keris used in the execution pierced her body, white blood spurted out, signifying her innocence. With her last dying breath, Mahsuri cursed the people of Langkawi, that they will never find peace nor prosperity, and the Island of Langkawi itself will become a barren unproductive land, to last for 7 whole generations. Shortly after her death, Langkawi was attacked by the Kingdom of Siam…

Conclusion is... rugiiiii sapa tak pegi tengok teater nii..hehehe.. :P

I had fun on that night.. and still kempunan and looking forward to watch "Puteri Gunung Ledang" in the future.. (hope they will stage it again.. ).

Arissa's Cukur Jambul and Doa Selamat Ceremony

Alhamdullillah, finally we managed to hold a special ceremony for our daughter, Arissa for her "Cukur Jambul & Doa Selamat" ceremony which was held yesterday at our resident. Lotsa people coming which includes a special "Marhaban" group which belongs to my mom's friends, families, friends and neighbors.

Basically this is the second ceremony for Arissa as the first event was held back then somewhere around February at my husband's village, Teluk Intan together with her aqiqah.
Words can't describe how tired we were try to make this event a successful one and to make it wonderful for our beloved Arissa. Glad that during the whole event, Arissa's try to control her charm-ness and cute-ness and try to behave as much. Hmm..even during the selawat and marhaban ritual going on.. she just keep on sleeping as if nothing happen... of course with the help of the warming hug from her mama.. :P I should say during the whole process of cutting her "jambul"... i kinda get a bit sensitive and my tears starts to fall... huhuhu..i guess being a mother turns me to someone who is "extra-sensitive" and took my brutal-ness away!!

Anyway, just to make things short, thank you to everybody who actually make time to come to the ceremony, for all the help and support to make the event such a memorable one.

And lastly.. pls make doa for my Arissa so that she will be strong and get healthy soon..

Secretaries Week Luncheon 2009

Usually every year, sure ada lunch or dinner just to celebrate all the secretaries.. and this year our management generously willing to spend RM420/person just to treat us lunch at Sime Darby Convention Centre with the guest star Anita Sarawak and Faizal Tahir. To be a big fan of Anita Sarawak, of course i am over excited for the lunch but Faizal Tahir.. not really. But, as far i'm concern, i am not biased .. and i do appreciate good music and songs... got to admit that he really has a good and marvellous voice. One of the song that really catch my breath is "Cuba".. fuhhhh.. memang best!!.. and again.. me and man playing guitar?? hehehe.. memang cair.. (while my mind flying somewhere else and thinking of "someone" could do the same for me..muah..muahhh..wonderful!! :P )

Insya Allah this year is going to be my last year celebrating this event as i'm advancing my career and jump to another level. I will miss all my friends.. especially the girls.. Azhi, Norzie, Watie, Fathiah, Aida, Amy and the rest.. Really enjoy "menggedik" with u gals.. ;)

May we always be the best Sec on the planet earth.. huhuhu..poyonyer!!

Nur Arissa Qaisara

It has been a year since my last writing. Time for me to wrap up the wonderful and unforgettable year of 2008. So many things happen, good and bad that i shd say that i really appreciate it very much.

On February, i was conceived with my first baby after 8 years of marriage. God knows how happy i was at that time and nervous of being a mother. To summarize... after all my backache, "butt-ache", non-stop eating habit and total of 24kg increased on my total weight, on 10th November, 2008.. my precious sweet little princess Nur Arissa Qaisara was born with the weight of 2kg at 11:53a.m. Was admitted to the hospital a day before and scheduled for Elective Caesarian on the next morning. My Arissa was detected as IUGR (Intra Uterine Growth Restriction) baby with breach presentation plus me having problem with Oligohydromnius (hehehe..dunno whether i spell this correctly or not..:P ). But alhamdullillah, she was born healthy and eventho she's small.. she looks perfectly strong to me!! (and that is why mama gave ur name Arissa which means very determine and strong).

Had to say, 2008 brings too many sweet memories.. of course not to mention bad ones too.. but at least i have my Arissa, learnt so many things about friendship and relationship.. to learn and to accept ones strength and weaknesses.. and appreciate more about love and life.
To all my family, my friends and my loved ones.. thank you for all the support and the strength that u've provided...
Love you always....
